Translation Help From Nancy Hunt, a reading teacher at Hemmerling Elementary School in Banning, California: "I use the website: www.freetranslation.com for my translation needs. When you type something in, do short sections at a time and be sure to use an X for names or places, because they might translate it. Then, highlight it, copy it by using your right click on your mouse, and open up your word processing program and paste it in, again using your right mouse button. I always have my bilingual aide read it over before sending it out because sometimes the translation is really literal. For example, it translated my principal's last name: Young. It is a wonderful and helpful site. If you start out with the English at the top of your word processing document, you can just copy sections at a time and then take it to the translation site, translate it, copy it and paste it on the bottom section of the word processing page.
